I went in after seeing that a 30-minute massage was $45 and a 60-minute massage was $60. When I asked about doing the 60-minute massage, the employee kept saying “30, 30,” so I agreed to the 30-minute option. When I went to pay, the total was around $48 because of an added service fee that had not been clearly explained beforehand. While I was trying to sign the receipt, the employee repeatedly said “tip, tip” even though I had not received any service yet. I felt pressured and uncomfortable, so I asked for a refund. At first, she only returned the $45 service price. I had to specifically ask for the additional fee back as well because I wanted everything I had just paid refunded. She eventually returned the full amount, but the entire interaction felt very pushy and unprofessional. Prices and fees should be clearly explained before payment, and customers should not be pressured to tip before receiving a service.
